Did you know that the future is now and Jeju is the future?
Well, it seems that way as the island has inked a new deal to bring facial recognition technology to your identification cards that will allow you access to services from transportation to … who knows where it will end.
The island, a designated a special drone zone, is moving ahead with plans to bring drone delivery services to the island.
In Jeju Dialect Corner, teacher Ju Young Han teaches Darryl Coote and Alexis Joy the word 삼춘, the title of Jeju singer and musician Yang Jeong Won who has graciously allowed the podcast to use his music, which we are super thankful for.
Ju Young announces her exhibition with Save Jeju Bada and Me, You and Jeju announces its first official contest.
Darryl and Alexis then continue to discuss COVID and the isle, but specifically how credit card data seems to suggest that the island has economically recovered from the pandemic.
